Tehran is hosting ‘I Can't Breathe’ gallery on protests against racism in the US.

Tehran has been hosting an international cartoon exhibition on protests against racism in the US.

Titled ‘I Can't Breathe’, the exhibition has been launched by the Art Bureau of Iran’s Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization.

More than 40 Iranian and foreign artists are showcasing more than 70 works at the event.

George Floyd died on May 25 after being pinned down under the knee of a white cop for 9 minutes despite yelling, “I can’t breathe”.

Floyd’s death has sparked protests nationwide and around the world, engulfing city streets with tens of thousands of demonstrators.

The US has been rocked by the demonstrations over police slayings of unarmed Black men, women and youth over the past decade. 

Celebrities around the world are taking action and joining people against racism.
